Thanks for playing, everyone! This was so fun! There ended up being 330 votes! The photo that received the most, with 85 votes was.....
#2-Darling Diva! WTG! You win a free shoot to use sometime this year!
And after compiling the votes (they were in 3 different posts and a few were emailed to me), removing the spam, and putting them in order based on the time stamp and then numbering them...I did the number generator on random.org and it gave me number 104.
Here's the screenshot.
And number 104 is.....heididodah!
Congrats to both of you! Shoot me an email and we'll work out the details!
I've been wanting to do something fun for my clients and I just came across another photographer's blog who is doing this and thought to myself, that's it!
So, I'm running a contest. I'm going to post my favorite pictures from the last year and YOU are going to vote! All you have to do is leave a comment with the number of your favorite picture. The winning image will receive a FREE shoot including the disk of images and copyright release sometime during 2010. Not only that, but I will use random.org to draw a name from the people commenting and one lucky person will also win a FREE shoot for yourself or somebody you know in the greater Spokane area during 2010! (I travel to Walla Walla and Seattle on a regular basis, so you can win if you live in either of those spot too.)
Feel free to spread the word amongst your family/friends to get votes! Please limit it to one vote per person. Voting will end on Fri, Jan 8th at 11:59 PM. Be sure to check back for the winners next week!
I had to limit the choices a little, so without further ado, here are some of the best from 2009!

It's time for Christmas Cards! I've been working on my own designs this year and it's been a lot of fun! So if you like one of these it's only $5 (paypal or check is fine) and you just send me your pictures and I'll put them in the card and email you the digital file which you can then upload to Costco or wherever and just print 4x6 or 5x7 prints. Easy peasy and much nicer on the wallet than your typical holiday cards.
If you're interested in a custom designed card then email me an idea of color/layout and for $15 I'll make you one.
Please send emails with pictures to mistydawnphotos@gmail.com. It can accept the bigger files. Oh, and let me know if you want color or b/w pictures. I can do some minor adjustments if needed.
If you are one of my clients and you have a shoot scheduled in November or December a Christmas Card is included in your shoot!
These next two are supposed to be funny. Turns out you have to be fairly sarcastic to "get" them but I figured I'd include them anyway. If you go for one of these, it needs the right kind of picture so keep that in mind! (for example a super cheesy picture for the "fake family" card...)
Best part? They're FULLY customizable which means you can make your own card or order one of my digital cards and upload it to a blank slate on their website and get 50 free 5x7 cards with free shipping.

I got to take pictures of an old friend and her family while I was in Walla Walla for the weekend. She's got the cutest twin boys that are almost 4 and they were a riot! They interacted so well with each other that I got some great shots.
We tried to get the little guy on the left to hug his dad's leg but he wasn't having it. I still love the shot.
This one is my favorite from the shoot.
When they were at the end of their ropes with pictures I told them to tackle their dad and we got some more great ones.
